Stacey Swan is a physical therapist, yoga instructor and yoga teacher trainer in the bay area. Stacey has been teaching for 18 years, and offers private and group classes in asana, restorative yoga, pranayama, and meditation. She has taught as a 200 hour teacher trainer at Folk and The Breathing Room. Stacey has over 800 hours of training in Viniyoga, Hatha, Restorative, and Vinyasa. As a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, she received a BA in Dance and a BS in Communications. In 2007, she completed her 200 hour certificate in Astanga/Vinyasa at O2 Yoga in Somerville, MA with Mimi Loureiro. In 2013, she earned her 500 hour certificate at the Healing Yoga Foundation in San Francisco, CA where she studied under Chase Bossart and Kate Holcombe in the Vini-yoga tradition. Stacey has studied 150 hours with Judith Hanson Lasater in non-violent communication, anatomy, and the art of restorative yoga. Stacey is certified as an Advanced Relax and Renew® Teacher, and is a continuing education provider. Most recently she completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree with honors from Samuel Merritt University.
